Worship during Coronavirus Lockdown
Starting from Sunday 4th October we are able to worship together again. The numbers who can attend need to be restricted at the moment due to Government guidance, however, it is amazing that we can be worshipping and praising God together after all this time. If you would like to attend a service, then please discuss this with one of the stewards in advance.
Sunday Worship will continue to be broadcast live on Facebook at 10:30am, please search for ’Peasedown St. John Methodist Church’.
If you have internet access, but don’t have a Facebook account, then don’t worry you can still view the services below.
10:30am Morning Worship
with Creche and Sunday School
Our morning service starts with informal worship songs at 10:15am, with the main worship starting at 10.30am.
Sunday worship is vibrant and lively, with a congregation ranging from 6 months to 98 years, and we enjoy worshipping God together! Preachers from around the circuit help us grow in our faith and our own fantastic worship group lead us in praise.
Most Sundays, the children and young people join in the first 15 minutes of the service, before leaving to go to their own Sunday School groups.
Refreshments are served after the service which gives us time to catch up with friends and gives us the opportunity of getting to know each other better.
All Age Worship
One Sunday in each month we join together for all age worship. This service is all inclusive and usually involves some kind of participation by the children and young people.
Holy Communion is celebrated once a month during morning worship. Those who are house bound may also receive communion.
(1st Saturday - Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, Nov - 7:00pm)
Loud, informal worship, led by the music group. An amazing evening of Spirit filled praise, singing, prayer and testimony.
